The North Myrtle Beach City Council met at City Hall on Monday, February 21, 2022 for a 7:00 pm meeting.
DURING THE MEETING:
-- City Council proclaimed the City of North Myrtle Beach as a Purple Heart City.
-- City Council appointed Joseph Gosiewski, Jr. to the Planning Commission for a four (4) year term.
-- City Council approved the St. Patrick’s Day Festival.
-- City Council approved the St. Patrick’s Day Parade.
-- City Council passed the second reading of an ordinance to amend Chapter 21, Article II, Sections 21-40 and 21-41 removing references to decals, except where they apply to golf carts.
-- City Council passed the second reading of an ordinance to annex and zone 1.58 acres on Champions Boulevard.
-- City Council passed the second reading of an ordinance regarding state-wide business license standardization.
-- City Council passed the second reading of an ordinance to convey an approximately 0.21-acre parcel of land located adjacent to 6th Avenue South to property owners abutting the parcel to be conveyed.
-- City Council passed the first reading of an ordinance regarding a petition for annexation and zoning designation for 0.49 acres on Riverside Drive.
-- City Council passed the first reading of an ordinance regarding the awarding of the Banana Boat Franchise Agreement for the Windy Hill area.
